HUMANITARIAN ACTION OF MUNICIPALITY
OF PALILULA "LET’S HELP OUR CHILDREN"

 At the third session of the Commission of Municipality of Palilula for the eligibility and criteria for awarding financial assistance to vulnerable families with seriously ill children, which was chaired by Dragan Terzic, it was decided that some of the funds raised in the campaign, "Let's help our children," be awarded to Miljana Djordjevic from Gabrovac, ul. Bubanjski Heroji. Milijana Djordjevic sought help of Municipality of Palilula to regulate transport or purchase a monthly card for going to Therapy and regular control of a child who has been diagnosed with hemophilia B. The diagnosis of this disease was placed in the second month of youngsters life, and since then family Djordjevic is looking for a solution to cure child's illness.

WORK OF MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATION BY HIGH STANDARDS

 Certification company "LL-C (Certification) in Prague, conducted in Municipality of Palilula-Nis the first audit at ISO 9001:2008 QMS. According to Boban Džunić, president of Municipality of Palilula, the first results of assessment of the quality standards of municipal government Palilula are positive. Our satisfaction is that this information allows us to stream towards continued validity and that motivation to our work is going to be stronger, says President Džunić.

LALINAC AND GORNJE MEDJOROVO FOOTBALLERS WITH PALILULA MUNICIPALITY IN HUMANITARIAN MISSION

 As part of activities of supporting sports clubs and associations, which operate successfully on the territory of Palilula, president of Palilula Municipality, Boban Džunić and his associates visited sports club "Mladost" in Lalinac, at the local stadium in Lalinac attended a football match with the club "Moravac" in Gornje Međurovo. This sport event and visiting clubs was announced in early August in Gornje Medjurovo village, when started the activity of the Municipal leadership on the analysis of the conditions started in which sports organizations and associations work take place in municipal rural areas.

CENTER AS A GATHERING PLACE FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS

 At the community center in Nis, an exhibition of jewelry and photographs is presented, taken in creative workshops with girls from June to August. The opening of the exhibition was attended by Prof. Nevena Petrušić, Commissioner for Equality and her associates Kosana Beker and Gorica Colic. Workshops were organized by the Society for the Development of Children and Young People “Open Club”, under the project "Development of community centers in South Serbia" implemented with the support of UNICEF, SDC, and the City of Nis City Municipality of Palilula. According to Tamara Simonovic, manager of the program, the aim of the workshops was empowering and creative expression, as well as socializing of girls from minority and majority groups.

SCOUTS VISITED THE TOMB OF LIBERATOR KING

 To mark the anniversary of the death of King Petar I Karađorđević, 16th of August in the Church of St. George a memorial service was held. Under the auspices of Palilula memorial was attended by a delegation of twelve scouts from unit "King Peter I". This base unit is the only reconnaissance boy scout unit in Serbia, which carries the name of the King Liberator.Divine Liturgy with the memorial service was served by His Grace Bishop šumadijski g. Jovan with the clergy of Oplenac regency. After the Liturgy, with state honors, along with other dignitaries scouts laid flowers at the grave of King whose name they proudly wear.

DEVELOPMENT OF EQUESTRIAN SPORTS - NEW ECONOMIC CHALLENGES

 At the open championship of the Republic of Serbia for the equestrian, in the fifth round, in the discipline Endurance that was under the patronage of Palilula Municipality -Nis and held last weekend in Gornje Medjurovo organized by Riding Club "NONIUS", involved ten participants from five clubs in Belgrade , Pancevo and Nis. In the presence of Predrag Ilic, General Secretary and Dr. Stanko Bozinovic, member of Administration of the Equestrian Federation of Serbia, trophies and medals, of the patron Palilula Municipality - Nis, to the most successful contestants were handed by Ivica Stojanovic, member of the Council of the Palilula Municipality.

 Office for Youth of Palilula Municipality will be patron of a regional chess tournament for elementary and secondary schools students, which will be held on September 1st in the elementary school "Branko Miljkovic" in Nis with in Youth Day of the City of Nis. It was agreed at the meeting of President of Palilula Municipality Boban Dzunic and President of the Chess Federation of Nis district Igor Lukic and Coordinator of Office for Youth Palilula Municipality Ivana Jovic. According to Igor Lukic, a chess tournament is intend for children from eight to eighteen years, it would be played in three groups of competitors in the category up to 10 years, to 14 years and in the category of 18 years.

 Commission of the Municipality of Palilula for the eligibility and criteria for awarding financial assistance to vulnerable families with seriously ill children, which was chaired by Dragan Terzic, held another meeting and decided to share the resources available, raised in the campaign, "Let's help our children," to Violeta Stevanovic from Nis and Danijela Pesic from Gabrovac.Violeta Stevanovic has applied for a grant in order to purchase orthopedic devices for son who has problems with his legs and bladder from birth.

GENERAL REGULATION PLAN OF CITY MUNICIPALITY OF PALILULA-STAGE TWO, AUGUST 16

 The draft of the general regulation areas of Municipality of Palilula - the second phase, which is given to public scrutiny from 18th of July 2013. can be seen untill 16th of August 2013. at the premises of the city's Department of Planning and Construction, and also in the hall of the Municipality of Palilula Nis. Objections to the draft of this document may be submitted by citizens of Nis at the City administration - Office of Planning and Construction, Generala Tranijea street 10, within the specified time. At a public meeting of the Planning Committee of Nis, which will be held on 11 September 2013. at 11 am in room 29 Assembly of Nis, at Nikola Pasic street 24, all received proposals and comments will be summed. According to Boban Džunić, President of Municipality of Palilula, it is very important that our citizens take an active part in the public debate related to Creation of general regulation-Palilula (second phase).

SPORT IN PROMOTING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

 Friendly football match between clubs "Moravac" in G.Međurovo and the football club "Mladost"-Medoševac was held last weekend at the football field in the Gornje Medjurovo. Džunić Boban, President of Municipality of Palilula played with talented football players of both teams, because he, until recently actively and successfully coached and played football at FC "Workers", "Železničar", "Jastrebac", "Sloga" ("Constantine"). Sports gathering of two players of the clubs was a real promotion of the sport and a healthy lifestyle, which is now increasingly understood as a priority, and especially with young people.

LETTER OF INTENT: WITH TRAINING COMES SUPPORT TO HUMANITARIAN ACTION

 Dear Sirs,
Palilula Municipality, launched a humanitarian campaign called'' Let's help our children'' from July 2013th. Action is part of the socio-humanitarian programs of Municipality of Palilula which aims to support families who are faced with the problem of providing adequate conditions for the health care of children. In cooperation with the Agency for the management system engineering -, CERT-PLUS, which controls the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 standard requirements in the work of the municipality, it was agreed that the Agency, in support of humanitarian activities'' Let's help our children'', organizes training of management and employees in organizations-businesses and other interested legal and natural persons, for those that are given in the appendix.
